Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL) Announces Fourth Quarter Loss, Exceeds Revenue Estimates

Comtech Telecommunications (CMTL) reported a quarterly loss of $0.02 per share against Zacks consensus estimate of a loss of $0.07. That compares to earnings of $0.28 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents a profit surprise of 71.43%. A quarter ago, this communications company was expected to post a loss of $0.03 per share when it was actually producing a profit of $0.06, offering a 300% surprise.
